Because this is a mobile app, it is VERY important that logo, or some part of the logo, works great as an app icon. The trend with app icons is to not have the name of the text within the icon, so if your logo does use the words "Off Color" in it, make sure they are used in a way that they can be easily removed for the app icon. Good examples of that include the locaray and framedart icons I selected above.
I think there is a great opportunity here to do something really cool with this logo based on the name "Off Color". The idea could try to tie into the actual theme of adult humor, or just have some sort of cool way of literally explaining the name like having a person jump off of a rainbow. I really want to see what unique ideas everyone can come up with!
I left my job 4 months ago, and have been developing this game by myself full-time since then. I have recently started a family and friends beta, and am excited to see that everyone has been really enjoying playing the game.
For those unaware, Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity are extremely popular board/card games that have basically no quality alternatives on any mobile app store. I have poured almost every waking hour the past 4 months into making this a great game, and I think there is a real chance that it becomes a big hit. I am hoping that with your help, we can create an awesome visual identity for the game.
I plan on being very active with giving feedback on everyone's submitted designs, and am hoping to form a long term relationship with a designer that can help me create some other cool things within this game and other future projects. Thanks!
