How rudeism started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?

I play games wrong.
I'm an online content creator who livestreams at http://www.twitch.tv/rudeism. I specialise in building video game controllers out of any object you can think of, and playing games with them. I've built controllers out of frying pans, loaves of bread, bunches of bananas, you name it. You'll never see me play a video game with a standard controller, keyboard or mouse! I livestream my builds as well, so electronics plays a big part in what I do, as well as gameplay and entertainment.
My target audience is people who have an interest in watching gaming livestreams. 81.5% of Twitch users are male, with 55% in the age between 18-34.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

It's a simple logo, easily recognisable.
The double meaning of the logo looks really good to me
The hound hidden in the antlers of the deer is fantastic. Great use of negative space.
It's nice and simple, plus I like how they've managed to communicate the idea of a nest in the logo by using so little.
I like the CMY being used in the logo, which is a clever way of incorporating the brand's industry into the logo.
It's nice and uncluttered.
I like that this is nice and simple, and has the double meaning of the paint looking like a crown.

The online name and the name of my channel is "Rudeism", but I don't tend to be a very rude person - it's just a moniker, really. I actually do my best to be nice and polite to my viewers, and we have a really positive and lovely community!
My aim with the new logo is to use it in my channel's branding and merchandise. I also have future plans to build bespoke controllers for others, and I'd like to have the new logo on these.
I'd like to avoid using the traditional controller shape or button layout in the logo (see image attached), since none of the controllers I build or use follow this design. I don't mind going for a logo that looks more abstract.
