We are a church about 5 years old- We want a sharp- Clean look that looks relevant but not too modern- We are a church that desires to boldly proclaim Christ and lift up His Word.
Logo types to explore
The logo style we are looking for is classical simplicity with an updated feel. Right now we are really drawn to the reversed celtic cross design from Grace Church Seattle. http://www.graceseattle.org We would be interested in seeing a similar design with our own unique twist. We like the celtic cross but would be open to other designs. Things we like about this Logo and Font: The rectangular logo The logo being to the left of the church name The font of the church name The style of layering the larger font over a smaller one. We would like to see Riverside as the larger font on top with Community Church underneath where the Community Church lines up in length under Riverside. The colors used: we are looking at a softer color pallet and especially something that will look good with black and white photos. Possible templates we are looking at are: http://www.graceseattle.org http://www.churchplantmedia.com/71 http://www.churchplantmedia.com/59 We would be interested in seeing font colors anywhere from the taupe color used by Grace to a chocolate and brown scheme that would go with church plant template 59A as linked above. 6. A bold chunkier design that would work well on web sites and sings that will be seen from the road. We do not need any designs that are too delicate in their details. 7. We like how the Logo + Church Name all fit together into a rectangular area. We are not interested in designs on top of the church name, or really logos that are significantly larger than the church name.
