We represent all the avocados from Chile that are sold in the U.S. market. They are brought into the U.S. by importers and sold under various importer brands, so our logo does NOT appear on the fruit yet. At some point in the future, we might want to add our own sticker to all the Chilean avocados sold in this market, similar to what California Avocados are doing, so the logo needs to work in a small sticker format. For now, the logo is used primarily on printed collateral, print and digital ads, point of sale materials, website and social media channels. We have two key audiences: trade and consumer. Trade represents the produce buyers and merchandisers who are selling and marketing Avocados from Chile in their supermarkets. Mostly men. Our primary consumer audience is women with kids, between the ages of 25-54.
When we are in market, the only other avocado available is Avocados from Mexico. We are the premium avocado brand, with clean, green origins. In terms of growing methods, geography, quality, etc. Chilean avocados are actually very similar to California avocados, which exit the market right before we enter. Our seasons are complementary.
