Great job on our logo for Kentucky Steaks. You can check it out at https://www.kentuckysteaks.com. I would recommend this designer.
How RussC started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Standard Soil. We welcome options with and without name (or even partial inclusion - e.g. Standard)
What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Standard Soil is a for-profit company of ranchers who care for land while (initially) producing grassfed cattle. We regenerate productive soil by using sunlight for energy, nature as an engine, and cattle as a tool. Our approach will make land owners more money while restoring prairies and the streams that flow from them - creating a thriving engine of life that in turn creates nutrient-rich food for everyone from microbes to bees to cattle to humans. Our target audience is land owners seeking both to make a financial return and reinvigorate their land, but also includes a wide array of private and public stakeholders with a passion for the environment. For now, we are not positioned as a consumer brand (subordinate product brands may come later). Although initially focused on cattle production, in the future we expect to develop other products and services that also flow from healthy and productive soil, so concepts that invoke a wide extension of the brand are welcome. We aim to set a new standard for making healthy food, healthy landscapes and healthy profits.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
Chosen colors should be ‘natural’ or ‘earth’ tones. We’re thinking green (plants) and maybe some brown (soil) tones, but touches of black (cattle, carbon) or some splashes of yellow (sunlight) might also make sense?
