"Sichermacher" means "The Safe-Makers" if translated word for word. We deal with clients that have manufacturing plants or dangerous workspaces and who are required by law to have periodic safety-inspections.
We are responsible for all compliance related aspects of running a business where potential dangers for employees or the environment are present.
When accidents happen, we are called to analyse the causes and to find out who is responsible for which shortcomings that allowed the accident to happen.
We analyse and advise, we train employees and managers, we get called when government inspectors get picky...
Failure to comply with regulations can lead to plants that have to stop production or even to jailtime and huge fines for management. Typically, we are not the guys to complain about not enough hard-hat wearing in a factory, but the ones that make sure you can run the plant where it's being planned, that probably no big explosions will result when turning the plant on and that all the permits and the paperwork is (and stays) in order.
Our target group are CEOs, plant-managers and especially the responsible chief procurement officers that need to understand it's better to book our services as advisors than calling us to take over the role of the fire-brigade once everything has gone belly-up (however - we like that part of the job too!)
