kitchemistry got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a logo for a campaign that will change American politics - really!
Check out kitchemistry's Logo design contest…
I am seeking a logo for a campaign I'm launching titled "Vote for the Other Guy." 2014 is a Congressional election year in the United States - the entire House of Representatives and one third of the Senate are up for grabs. Congress has a 9% approval rate, and yet in every election 80-90% of members of Congress get re-elected - because people don't think they can make a difference! "Vote for the Other Guy" is an initiative to encourage the public to take their power back by completely upending Washington DC by throwing all incumbent politicians out of office, and to remind the political establishment - and the American public - who the boss really is. I'm looking for a logo that embodies the spirit of the campaign - it should convey patriotism (without being too heavy handed), change, activism. I imagine it being red white and blue, but I'm open to other color schemes. I am going to use the logo on the campaign's website, marketing materials, and on three web videos we will be producing.

so sorry this review is so overdue. Just logged in to ask for modification and saw it was never done. The designer was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with and the design professional.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
