mazooly got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a fun & playful logo for a new brand for baby products ("Mazooly").
Check out mazooly's Logo design contest…
Mazooly is a new brand for baby products. At the moment, we focus primarily on baby bags (e.g., diaper bags and other bags that carry baby-related accessories), but we will eventually branch out into a variety of other baby products (e.g., apparel, toys, cups, etc.). Our target audience is primarily new parents with babies (typically adults in their 20s/30s). First and foremost, we want a fun and playful logo that we can put on all of our packaging (and all of our marketing materials -- e.g., social media profiles, the website, etc.). Mazooly is fun to say, and we want our primary logo to give off a fun and playful vibe. Since we will also be putting the logo on a variety of different baby products (with varying sizes), it would be great if the primary logo could be easily converted into a "summarized" logo. For example, we would use the primary logo on a bag's packaging and/or a larger bag tag (which would be removed from the actual bag by the customer), and we would use the "summarized" logo on a smaller bag label (which would be permanently attached to the bag). Another example would be to use the primary logo on a t-shirt and the "summarized" logo on the small tag inside the t-shirt. If you have any questions about this primary/"summarized" logo concept, please ask.
Thank you for participating in our contest! We want to help you create the best logo possible so if you have any questions, please ask. Mazooly literally means, "baby," but you DO NOT have to include a baby in your logo designs. It might be interesting to see a design that incorporates a baby into the logo (e.g., using the O's as eyes for a baby), but again: YOU DO NOT have to use a baby in your designs. It's far more important to create a fun, unique logo that new parents would actually like to see on their baby products (as opposed to forcing a specific design element into the logo). If you have any questions or need any additional direction, please ask. We don't have any color preferences. We're just looking for a playful logo that will appeal to a younger audience (since most new parents are typically in their 20s/30s). We also don't have a preference between mazooly vs. MAZOOLY vs. Mazooly (i.e., the case of the name). It seems like all lowercase (mazooly) or all uppercase (MAZOOLY) might look better, but we don't want to restrict your creativity -- do what you think is best. Ideally, we're looking for a primary logo that will look great on product packaging and marketing materials. Also, as mentioned above, it would be great if the primary logo could be easily converted into a "summarized" logo that we can use on actual product labels (e.g., a bag label, a t-shirt label, etc.). With that in mind, the "summarized" logo should also look great in a single color (or in black & white) because some products won't allow us to use a full range of colors -- even if the primary logo is very colorful. Please only submit ORIGINAL work because we want a truly unique logo. Let your creativity run wild!!! We'll be checking designs on a regular basis and providing constant feedback. We appreciate all of your work, and we want to make sure this is the best experience possible for everyone involved. Thanks again for participating!!!
