We are a non-denominational, Christian church.
Our target audience would be those who have never made faith or church part of their lives so we wouldn't want a logo that would tend to look like a church logo at a glance. We would likely opt for a logo that could appear on a designer t-shirt, a tattoo, a graffiti stencil, or a gym bag.
The language we use, the events we host, the songs we sing, the building where we meet would all tend to be very non-traditional. We tend to draw a diverse "non-churchy" crowd because we've created an environment where anyone feels welcome and included.
We have a fairly balanced demographic blend in our church, from young families, teens attending with and without their parents, a large percentage of young adults, but also plenty of those ages 40-80.
The most active demographic involved in volunteer service and participation are those ages 18-40.
This new logo accompanies a name change for our church. We have, as "Great Falls Christian Center", a 30+ year track record of serving our city in practical ways and seeing people from a large variety of backgrounds experience lasting life change in our church. We are entering a new phase of our mission with a new generation of young leaders spear-heading our ministries.
