FYD is a design company with all favors made in our NYC studio. We have on staff designers that will work with the client to create something customized. We use the finest confections, fabrics and collaborate with artisans in Europe. With that said, we believe in beauty in simplicity. Whether an event is luxurious or understated, glamorous or rustic, modern or vintage, our designers will capture that element but will always be REFINED so as to maintain the FYD 'signature look.
Please use your creative touch. The following is just a guide of all the different things I have liked and envisioned:
I am envisioning a bow somehow incorporated in the logo. I would also like to explore the option our our logo being just the letters FYD if that can translate that to something creative enough. When using the entire title: Favor Your Day, I would like to see Favor in a different font or size from Your Day so as to bring separate emphasis to each (think of when a bride is told "it's your day"). The bow detail if used probably makes more sense extending from the word Favor so as to "tie" into it's meaning (pun intended!)
Think of a female that is distinctive, fresh, refined, approachable and witty.
If you blend the following websites, you will be along the lines of what I envision as an overall for my site:
-The business concept and layout of Odealarose.com (without the clutter and excessive writing at the bottom..lol)
-The simplicity of Littlevintagerentals.com (replaced with timeless and fresh, not vintage)
-I love Monique Lhuillier and love the website and logo (but perhaps with a slightly more chiseled marker tip). moniquelhuillier.com
- I like the logo on Ivankatrump.com
- Halston.com sophisticated, timeless, etc..
- Katiemay.com (the pics under lookbook have the vibe I like)
-Leeannemarshall.com (honorable mention for it's soft tomes, gold foil font, and occasional pop of feminine color)
-1919restaurant.com (honorable mention for it's modern/simple style with a pop of color in the photography/food)
