Bar & Nightclub
Hi there! We're a company that made our name with our patented jello shot maker, The Jellinator and when we set out to redesign The Jellinator we've come up with a very different looking product that is also a quick, easy, no mess way to make jello shots but we've also discovered a new use and thus it needed its own name. The new product will be called “The Shot Caller” and we are hoping to pitch it to bars and nightclubs as an easier way for bartenders to make batches of shots and then either the server or the patrons can easily dispense the shots themselves perhaps even as an addition to bottle service. We're unveiling it at the Bar and Nightclub Expo in Vegas next month and we need a logo to go along with our Jellinator logo on our booth signage. We would like both logos to not look terrible together on the same sign, but we are thinking we’d like The Shot Caller to be a bit more sophisticated and cleaner since our demographic is bartenders, bar owners, and alcohol companies who may want to partner with us and license our design for their own use. You can also check out our current website, www.jellinator.com to get a better feel for the current brand and view the Jellinator logo. Also, we haven't finalized the design of The Shot Caller but we are taking inspiration from the St. Germain Elderflower liqueur bottle if that helps :) Looking forward to seeing what cool stuff you all come up with! We're definitely open to creative designs!
We added a hand drawn idea to the design inspiration! But we definitely want this logo to look sophisticated and sleek. The coolest new thing to happen to bottle service that upscale clubs would want to put in their bars or want to serve at bottle service. A shot glass isn’t totally necessary to be integrated to the design but this is the only type of bar imagery that would probably work, so no wine glasses or margarita glasses please. Thank you!

Great designs and awesome communication. We were never waiting on the Dude. He offered us suggestions without being pushy or a know-it-all. He was a great listener as well. We were glad for his input and happy we didn't have to "lead" him considering we weren't sure what we wanted. Very professional. A pleasure to work with!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
