How Buzz Joinery started their logo design journey

It's a beehive like no one has ever seen before. The Golden Hive. It is designed to be not only beautiful but also it is build with a keen eye for detail and built to be harmonious with the bees natural habits. We feel deeply that bees deserve a home that is in harmony with their own natural behaviours. And that tending to them in a way that is less stressful and invasive leads to healthier bee colonies. Hand crafted dovetail joints connect the hive's four walls which are built on the proportions of the golden mean, a principle of sacred geometry (google it!). It's gleaming copper top (an element of the planet Venus which rules most plants) & the fine woodwork of it's dovetail joints makes this hive a functional art piece that people would love to have as an addition to their garden or yard. Every element of this hive has been crafted with the bees wellbeing in mind. We often refer to this hive as the "Martha Stewart" beehive because it is a high end luxury product but it's for a person who is familiar with organic & biodynamic farming principals(look this up!), alchemy, astrology and sacred geometry. This hive is easy to maintain because there is no heavy lifting like with the typical Langstroth hives. Our company will manufacture this hive and other other products that work with our hive. Buzz Joinery will have a strong online presence with a website forum for bee keepers to connect and a store that sells bees & imports hard to find European beekeeping supplies like pipe-smokers, face nets, books and beehive paints that have special UV pigments for the bees to locate their hive. .

Some images we like are: Hexagram, honey comb shape, Flower of Life, Golden Spiral. This logo needs be simple enough that we can router it on the side of the hive. And also look good in colour for print, web etc... Or have a simple image within the logo that we can lift out and router on the side of the hive to indicate our company's brand. The image we have included is of the hive without its copper roof.
