Check out susan l's Logo & business card contest…
Initially Fernhopper, LLC is providing consulting services to Clean Energy customers. But long term the company will be designing, manufacturing and selling a line of unique outdoor products for camping, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors. The logo needs to be scalable for use on the web & packaging. The Fernhopper, LLC may serve as the umbrella for published materials as well, aka Fernhopper Press. Fernhopper intends on designing sustainable and environmentally-friendly products that help people of all ages enjoy their experience outdoors.
Other color requirements
Green, Grays, Yellow, White - But open to other options
The term 'Fernhopper' is a slang name for a West Coast Forester. 'Hopper" is a person who travels or moves frequently from one place or station to another, and is often used in combination with another word, like grasshopper. We've always had a love for hiking, camping and backpacking, and have designed unique products improve the experience. This is a brand new business, so we do not have existing images, sketches or documents. If you've been to the Northwest US, you've seen the lush forests that are covered in ferns. Photos of our NW forests are inserted below, with pics of the various ferns in this region. But we hope there is an active or integrated element of the logo that translates into movement. I've attached some stylized logos below that incorporate ferns into their logos. I'm realizing that it's the more simple, stylized designs that are more attractive to us. Perhaps these are more "playful" than originally thought. Another thought - The word "Fernhopper" is long. It can be divided into two lines, or two stylized "P's" could become the logo We hope to find a designer/partner that can help us with this project, and many others down the road. The logo doesn't need to be a fern....it could be a muddy footprint:)
