Direct Resource, Inc. was incorporated in 1997. We have worked continuously with the state of Ohio since that time. So we are looking for a logo that is fitting for an organization that has a nearly 20 year history. Direct Resource, Inc. does have logo but it has not been used extensively.
Direct Resource is well known amongst government agencies and has a reputation for being reliable and fair. Our calling card is that we provide a high level of customer service by being flexible to meet the customer's needs.
MBE organizations can have reputation of being unreliable in Ohio. Many of them are shadow organizations for larger companies.
Direct Resource, Inc. would like to differentiate ourselves from those MBEs. Our competition is not the other MBEs; our competition is their parent company.
We are looking for a new logo because we will be launching a new ecommerce website. Since we have not had a strong presence online, we would like to use this launch as a chance to create a new visual brand identity. While we have a good reputation for our service and name recognition, we have not needed a strong visual brand until now. The challenge is to create strong visual brand that will match our reputation.
Since we are a small business, we can still provide personalized attention to our customers, but we have enterprise level capabilities and resources. Our company values are: reliability, fairness, value, and service.
A couple notes for the logo --
- "Resource" is singular NOT plural
- We would like to include "Inc." when using the company name because it is in our email and URL.
- Logo will primarily be used for business cards, invoices/purchase orders (generally emailed) and web.
- Logo must work in B/W and grayscale
- Maximum two colors
- Please avoid arcs, spheres, two-tone circles, stylized humans, and bubbles/dots.
