bkatz got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
Help end the War on Drugs - landing page
Check out bkatz's Landing page design contest…
Our website is designed to educate people about philosophy, economics, and political science with short videos and to give people opportunities to help make the world a freer place. Our target demographic is 18-28 year old college students. We are releasing a video about the futility of the War on Drugs. At the end of the video, people will be prompted to click in order to do something about the War on Drugs and will be directed to this landing page.
I've attached a screen shot from the video titled "Drug War colors.png". Please use that as a guide for colors of the landing page.
Elements to include in the landing page
VERY IMPORTANT: Here is a wireframe of all the elements we would like to include on the landing page: https://gomockingbird.com/mockingbird/#r5tjwnn In sum, we need a video embed and social sharing buttons. Consult the wireframe as a guide for your design. As you will see on the landing page wireframe, there is a spot for logos of 3 anti-Drug War organizations: SSDP, MPP, and LEAP. We'll need those logos re-sized to be smaller. I've attached those logos in a zip folder entitled "partner logos.zip"
If you go to LearnLiberty.org, you will see a navigation bar that includes items such as "Videos" and "Academy" and "Opportunities" The landing page will go below that navigation bar, which is roughly 985 pixels.Design needs be layered, PSD. We've created a landing page wireframe that outlines the basic elements and flow that we want. However, feel free to use your aesthetic expertise to make it look cleaner.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Landing page design starts at $349.
