Healthy Streets advocates for making street environments pleasant places for people to walk, cycle and spend time. It is based on ten Indicators of what makes a street environemt 'Healthy' which are all about the human experience. These are:
1) Everyone feels welcome/pedestrians from all walks of life
2) People choose to walk and cycle
3) It is not too noisy
4) There are things to see and do
5) There are places for people to stop and rest
6) People feel safe
7) People feel relaxed
8) The air is clean
9) The street is easy to cross
10) There is shade and shelter when people need it
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I have an illustration (see attached images) which encapsulates each of the 10 Healthy Streets Indicators in a way that means I can pull each one out individually. If you look at my website https://healthystreets.com/home/about/ you can see how I want to use this illustration.
My current illustration does not meet my needs though because the style is too twee and it looks like an english village. I would like this exact composition but with a modern and graphical style. I would like the buildings to look like a town or city street that could be in many countries e.g. more than 2 storeys and maybe with flat roof.
You can also see my logo below which the image will need to fit in the middle of (it needs to be round!) and I have attached an old diagram which shows the ten indicators written around the circule so you can see how the coloured sections of the circle relate to the ten indicators.
There are specific RGB codes for the logo, you will want to use touches of these colours in a colour version of the illustration but you are not limited to just these shades. These are listed on one of the attachments.
I know both of these have people who are probably a bit too small to cover the detail I need in my illustration but this shows the graphical style, modern city look and colourful fun impression that I want in this illustration.
