What's your vision?
I am looking for a fully-colored image for the title screen of an upcoming mobile game currently in development. The image should be that of a modern-day Catholic priest kneeling over an altar in a gothic-looking church, in the midst of repentance. He should have a sorrowful look on his face, and his head should be down. Towering over him should be a crucifix. The priest is having a crisis of faith, and he fears what will happen to him if he strays from the path he always envisioned in his life. I would like the perspective to be that from the high end of the wall, looking down upon the priest to create a sense of "judgment". Please see the quick reference sketch for an example of a possible perspective. The image should portray a sense of solitary sorrow. There should be a strong juxtaposition of light and shadow, creating a dark, moody feel. Behind the priest should be a bright white light, almost as though heaven is waiting for him, though his back must be to it. The game's title will appear at the top center of the image, so please make sure there is space for it. Lastly, the image should be a minimum of 1366x768 in resolution. The resolution should be kept at a 16:9 ratio, but it is essential that all important imagery fit within a 4:3 box within the center of the image. So, for example, if the image is 1366x768, the priest, crucifix, and any other important details must fit within a 1024x768 window in the center of the image, as the sides will be cropped in some instances.
A sample image of the priest has been included so that you can ensure the priest in the illustration looks the same. I have also provided the game's title image, so that you can ensure the illustration fits with the look of the title. Lastly, a quick sample sketch has been provided to showcase a potential setup for the scene. In the sketch, the green area designates the area that will be cropped in certain instances. One final note... Please do NOT limit yourself to this angle or the details I have provided. I consider all design work to be both a creative and collaborative process, and so I am open to alternate interpretations of the scene. For additional information or details, please do not hesitate to inquire. I look forward to seeing your designs!
