Ol Jogi is a nature and wildlife conservancy, based in Kenya. We protect some of the last endangered species on this planet. Our brand is first and foremost know for the conservation work that we carry out. Secondly we are known for our high end toursim offering, which helps fund our conservation efforts. On the conservancy we have 8% of the world’s remaining eastern black rhinos, 5% of the remaining reticulated giraffe, 20% of the remaining grevy zebra’s etc. To find out more please look at www.oljogi.org
We have already done a design contest for this specific logo on 99designs. In the end we did not end up with a logo that we used as it was turned down by our board of directors. The reason was that it was too different from our previous logo. In this design contest, we are looking for an updated and more modern version of our current logo. It should retain the same colors (they are the kenya flag colors). The border is gold. and shield shape, and it should have a different buffalo head which looks more like a cape buffalo than a north american buffalo. The current logo is the first photo attached. The one with the buffalo head and the shield. The second image is meant to show the font we wish to use for the writing. The third image is what our current logo looks like on stickers on our vehicles. The logo should not have writing outside of the shield. The same relative shape, colors styles and general concept should be maintained, but we wish to have it look a bit more modern, up to date, and with a nicer drawing of a cape buffalo head. The cross at the bottom of Kenya represents maasai spears. It can be kept but is not necessary. We would ideally like to incorporate the words « wildlife conservancy » and perhaps this can replace « Kenya » if there is a lack of space.
