How bradroth started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
West Zion Mennonite Church
What’s your company slogan?
Worship God / Follow Jesus
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a Christian church. We want to communicate:
simple and honest faith centered in Jesus
We seek to welcome people in our small (1,500) rural town into our community of faith.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are interested in exploring images of gate, grapes, and open door--but maybe not all three together.
Grapes express abundance and hold deep Christian symbolism, and we have a historical connection to grapes because of our stained glass.
Gate expresses Jesus' invitation to follow him in the gospels.
Open door expresses our desire to be a welcoming community of faith.
Our full mission statement speaks of the Holy Spirit. We wondered if there might be a way to communicate a symbol of the Holy Spirit between "Worship God" and "Follow Jesus"--perhaps a tiny MCUSA dove (found here: http://www.mennoniteusa.org/about/v…identity/). Other possibilities include a small flame or a different sort of dove.
We would like "West Zion" to be in a large font with "Mennonite Church" underneath in a smaller font.
