Trial & Error

Publishing a book intended to reach people to educate them about the errors of well-meaning political initiatives.
What's your vision?
I have written a book told from the perspective of a Mayor who tries several different political initiatives with teachers' unions, taxes, gun control, cost control, minimum wage, immigration, military actions, healthcare reform, stimulus spending, and other initiatives intended to make his town better. All of these initiatives end up much differently than the mayor had planned. The intent of this book is to reach many people who would normally not be attracted to a serious book on politics... but would read stories to learn more about political and budget realities of running our government. The town the mayor is running is designed to test out government programs to see how well the programs work. The name of the town is called Trial Town.
I had a few ideas about a picture of a picturesque town, with its reflection in a lake looking all ruined. This may communicate a desire for a nice town, but the reality of a town in ruin. However, I am not that artistic, so I really need artists to provide ideas.
