My product is an adventure travel story based on events triggered by redundancy (from General Motors car factory in the UK)
The book is called:
Round the Bend
Sub title: From Luton to Peru to Ningaloo, a search for life after redundancy
I originally thought the target audience for the book would be men and women between 25 and 45 who plan to travel (Kilimanjaro/Inca Trail/Amazon/Overland Safari in Africa) or enjoy reading about adventure travel. I have recently had reviewers and readers from India, Australia, USA and UK and my Amazon ranking from them is 4.2 out of 5.
The general feedback is those that read it really enjoy it, but it rarely gets picked and I think a compelling front cover will help.
I am British and my initial thought was that it would appeal mainly to British men and women, but after the positive reviews from USA I now realise it has global appeal.
The countries visited during the 9 month trip were England, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Fiji and Australia.
Hope this helps :)
