TwinDadJoe got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Create a New Book Cover for the Dad's Guide to Twins
Check out TwinDadJoe's Book cover contest…
Dad's Guide to Twins helps parents expecting twins survive the twin pregnancy and prepare for their twins' arrival. The website and book offer tips, tricks, and advice to help twin parents in having and raising twins.
What's your vision?
I'd like to design a new cover for my book, the "Dad's Guide to Twins". This book is currently sold in several formats: paperback, Kindle, and PDF ebook versions. The new cover image will be used for all formats on the revised edition of the book that will be forthcoming. You can see the current book details here: http://www.dadsguidetotwins.com/twindadbook/ And on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1456495283 I've attached the old cover images for reference. Please include the current text from the front and back cover in the new design. You can include the picture of the twins from the original cover but it is not required. The book is written by a Dad for Fathers of twins. Fathers expecting twins buy this book as well as their wives (typically as gifts for their husbands). The book contains tips and advice that help both Mom and Dad but the book cover design should be focused on Dad. I like the masculine theme of Armin Brott's book covers that also enable him to have a series of books that all fit together visually: http://www.amazon.com/The-Expectant-Father-Dads-Be/dp/0789210770
I can get you additional pictures of twins that can be used for the cover design if needed. We need to make sure that we have the rights to publish any photography used in the design.
